Childhood and Early Life

Luke Albert Combs (born March 2, 1990) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Combs was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. He has been performing as a vocalist since his childhood. While attending A.C. Reynolds High School, Combs played football and performed with multiple vocal groups, including performing a solo in the world-renowned Carnegie Hall. Later, he attended Appalachian State University where he played his first country music show at the Parthenon Cafe. With less than a month left of his fourth-year of college, he dropped out to pursue his country music career. He later moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. In early 2016, Luke started dating Nicole Hocking, and the two got engaged in November 2018.

Career

CMA and ACM Award-winner Luke Combs is a multi-platinum, No. 1 Country singer-songwriter from Asheville, NC.
